Sometimes, when you’re traveling, you take a photo that you just want to share with the world – Sunday Snapshot is about doing exactly that… Or it used to be before life (and a global pandemic) got in the way.
The photos I share are rarely (actually never) perfectly framed and edited images but they do mean a lot to me for one reason or another.
Today’s photo is from Lake Como in Italy and was taken on a day trip there from Milan a couple of years ago!
Obviously, I love travelling to new places with the kids but sometimes, we visit somewhere that I wish I had just an hour on my own there with just me and my camera. Lake Como was one of those places!
I can’t remember the name of the little town we visited but we headed there by train (not an easy task as we don’t speak Italian and no one we asked for help spoke any English) on a super-hot day when it felt like the whole world was getting the train to Lake Como along with us.
Wherever we were, it was a beautiful town on the shores of Lake Como with the most stunning streets filled with pretty buildings that were so picturesque that I could have spend days there just wandering and taking photos!
I’ll be back!
